Analysis:  I am really not sure why he is of the belief that there was so much chemistry between us.  Actually, yes I am.  Studies (by scientists and by life observers) have shown time and time again that men tend to overestimate how attracted a female is to them.   If I had amazing chemistry with this character, I’d have no problem admitting it.  The fact is that I didn’t.  As I explained in a previous post about him, it took me over an hour of repetition to tell him that I did not want to be anything more than friends.  Of course, I didn’t even want to be friends.  I wanted to be nothing, but “let’s be friends” is usually an easier sell.  He wasn’t buying, though.  So, I was left with no choice but to ignore him.  Unfortunately, three years later, he still doesn’t believe that I want to be nothing with him.  He claims it’s going to be another 1,000,000 times before I find another him.  Lucky me! Double it up and make it 2 mil!
