Specimen Dissection June 17, 2011

Posted by Princess MoMo on Jun 19 in Dating, Men

On Tuesday, June 14, 2011, this specimen initiated cyber contact with Princess MoMo.   That night, the two conversed on the telephone.   They agreed to meet on Friday at 9 p.m.   MoMo admonished him that he would have to maintain contact with her over the course of the days leading up to the in-person encounter, otherwise she would not show up to the Friday meeting.  He heeded her advice and texted her daily.  Oddly enough though, as inexplicably as his number added itself to the contacts in MoMo’s device, it subsequently deleted itself.  MoMo’s device works in mysterious ways, if at all.

MoMo was mildly excited about the date with this specimen because he demonstrated he is witty, insightful and intelligent.  She kept her excitement to a minimum though because experience has taught her that specimens rarely live up to high expectations.  She also couldn’t quite gauge his level of aesthetic appeal from his pictures.  A picture may be worth a thousand words, but sometimes even a thousand words can’t adequately describe  ugly.  (That’s not to say that MoMo thought he would be ugly, because she didn’t.   But there’s something about a person’s essence that photographs generally don’t capture. )

To her delight, when her eyes gazed upon this specimen for the first time, she was not repulsed.  In fact, she was quite pleased with the exception of his shirt selection.  (Aside: The shirt pattern is pictured to the right. During the date debriefing with him the following day, MoMo expressed her distaste for his shirt. He explained that he had purchased the shirt specifically for the date.  He stated that at first, he would see guys wearing shirts like that and think that they look like lumber jacks.  MoMo agreed and told him she wasn’t into the Paul Bunyon look.  He then said that he thought more about the guys he would see wearing those shirts and that they were always surrounded by hot girls.  So he decided to buy one.  We all make mistakes.  During the debriefing, he also admitted that he was apprehensive about meeting MoMo and that prior to meeting, he wasn’t taking it very seriously because he thought that someone with an alias like Princess MoMo must be delusional.  By the end of the date, it appeared as though he did not object to the reality MoMo chooses to accept. )

The specimen demonstrated a bit of nervousness during the beginning of the encounter, but he quickly became more comfortable.   He kept up drink-wise and fun-wise with MoMo, which is a rare occurrence.   Overall, it was a pleasant experience.   The true test of a successful date with MoMo is whether she wants to engage in future sober activities with a specimen.  Next Saturday, this specimen and MoMo are scheduled to visit a zoo and Liberty Science Center.
