Online Dating Fails: The Poor Grammar Epic is Spreading

Guy: Well hello…after reading what you had to say on your page and seeing your pics I would forever regret not getting in touch with you. We would be a really really good match I think eventhough I am 1 inch shy of your minimum but bigger and better than most in several more important ways…after you check me out hopefully you will too. Hope to get to know you sweetie. My name is Blaise btw

Princess: Hi Blaise –

How far are you from Jersey?

Guy: I am only about 20 miles from your area :) You are geographically desirable in addition to your other great qualities

Princess: Excellent. I’m exhausted right now so I do not have any witty comment with which to grace you but I did want to acknowledge receipt of your message.

Guy: haha that was funny. glad you were kind enough to do that. hope to hear from you when you’re rested

Princess: I was going to write back, but then I read your profile and noticed the “ur” usage, along with some other “words” that didn’t tickle my fancy. :(

Guy: haha yeah my bad. I have gotten so used to the trend with texting that I did that I guess. I usually don’t when typing on the computer but apparently I did : ( can you fogive me? I will happily change it because I don’t like that much either

Analysis:
This is no laughing matter. The poor-grammar epidemic is widespread and out of control.
